Valentina di Nisio

I have a background on biotechnology of reproduction applied in both animal and human models. During my PhD at the University of L'Aquila (L'Aquila, Italy), I carried on projects aimed at studying female reproduction in physiological and pathological conditions in a mouse model. During my years as postdoctoral reasercher, I established and characterized a new human-relevant 3D model of primary somatic ovarian cells (Silk-Ovarioids), further aiming at standardizing it for biological and tocicological studies. Furthermore, I am passionate aabout fertility preservation and mostly exploring new horizons that will allow young girls and women to preserve their ability to become mothers, one day.
