About me

  • Master of Science (2018) and PhD (2024) in Experimental Pathophysiology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). During my doctoral training, I was involved in research and educational activities in collaboration with FMUSP, working as a collaborating researcher at the Environmental and Experimental Pathology Laboratory and co-supervising undergraduate research students.

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Professor Anda Gliga at the Karolinska Institutet, where my research focuses on the toxicological effects of environmental and combustion-derived particles on human cells. My work involves the development and application of in vitro lung models to investigate both acute and chronic exposures.

My expertise includes human cell culture, in vitro exposure systems, and cellular and molecular biology techniques, with an emphasis on mechanistic toxicology.
