About me

  • I am a physician, public health specialist, and doctoral student at Karolinska Institutet. My research focuses on HIV, adolescent and youth health, maternal and child health, and the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases, with a particular interest in improving health outcomes through evidence-based and person-centered approaches.

My work combines public health research, implementation science, knowledge translation, and participatory approaches to develop, evaluate, and scale interventions that address complex health challenges. I am particularly interested in understanding factors that influence healthcare access, service uptake, retention in care, and health equity among vulnerable populations.

Alongside my doctoral studies, I serve as a Research Officer and practicing physician at Management and Development for Health, where I contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs and research initiatives. Through collaborations with multidisciplinary and international teams, I aim to generate evidence that informs policy, strengthens health systems, and improves population health outcomes.
