About me

  • I am a research professor from Wenzhou Medical University, China, currently as a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (MEB), Karolinska Institutet (Dec 2025 – Nov 2026). I earned my PhD in Food Science and Nutrition  from Zhejiang University (2012–2016), followed by postdoctoral training of nutritional psychiarty at China Medical University in Taiwan (2018–2019). My research focuses on nutrition and mind-body health, specifically the effects of dietary fats and fatty acids on depression and mood disorders. I work with large cohort datasets, bioinformatic tools, and laboratory approaches to advance integrative research in nutritional psychiatry. I am very open to cross-disciplinary collaborations across nutrition, epidemiology, bioinformatics, and psychiatry. I welcome exchanges of ideas, methodological discussions, and exploring potential joint projects together.

Research

  • Nutritional psychiatry and epidemiology, focusing on omega-3 fatty acids in relation to mind-body health using integrative research with epidemiology, bioinformatics, and laboratory validation.

Teaching

  • My teaching and supervision focus on lipid nutrition, nutritional epidemiology, and research methods in nutritional psychiatry. I mentor graduate students and contribute to training programs on dietary assessment, cohort study design, and statistical analysis for mental health research.
