My experience in teaching second cycle/on a graduate level (incl. leadership roles) since 2002

•        The course director/organizer, teacher and examiner for an elective course in plastic surgery för medical students during the surgical semester (T7) SVK Rekonstruktiv Plastikkirurgi och Brännskador 2004-2024.

•        The course organizer and examiner for a Clinical elective in Plastic Surgery for international exchange students, Karolinska Institute since 2014.

•        Lecturer plastic surgery during T7: SÖS, K-Solna, DS since 2004.

•        Director of studies for graduate education (Studierektor) 2014–2016 at MMK, Karolinska Institute for the surgical semester at Karolinska Solna.

•        Responsible for Plastik-KUA during T7, Karolinska Institute, since 2025.

•        Creating and starting a new course Elective period T11, Karolinska Institute, VKM Reconstructive Plastic Surgery HT26.

My experience in teaching on a national specialist level (incl leadership roles) since 2004

•        Resident Program Director, Plastic Surgery, Karolinska University Hospital since 2004.

•        The course organizer, teacher and examiner for a Nordic course Plastic surgery and Cancer for residents in plastic surgery in the Nordic countries 2014, 2015, 2020, 2021.

•        Teaching residents in general surgery, ENT and plastic surgery as a lecturer and plastic surgical residents’ hands-on flap-courses on cadavers and pigs and microsurgical course on rats.

•        Active member of the Educational Committee of the Swedish Plastic Surgery Association (SPKF) since 2007 and active in writing the Swedish curriculum for Plastic surgery 2001 and 2014. Chair of the Educational Committee 2011–2012.

•        External auditor for specialist certificates in Plastic surgery, Socialstyrelsen since 2015.

My experience in teaching on an international specialist level (incl leadership roles) since 2007

•        Swedish delegate since 2007 European Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (EBOPRAS) and UEMS (Union Européenne des Médicins Spécialistes). Member of Educational Committee and active in writing the European Standars for Medical Training (ETR) and curriculum and logbook for Plastic Surgery.

•        Oral examiner for the European exam in Plastic Surgery, by EBOPRAS since 2012.

•        Lecturer European Course in Plastic surgery since 2012.

•        Chair of the Educational Committee of the European Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (EBOPRAS) 2014 - 2019.

•        Active member since 2019 of the Educational Committee of the Scandinavian Association of Plastic Surgeons (SCAPLAS) responsible for planning the mandatory Nordic courses for residents in Plastic surgery.
