- Afiliated researcher in the PeriBrainCare group. Registered nurse since 2011, specialist nurse since 2018, PhD since 2025.
Research
My PhD dissertation explored assessment and identification of postoperative cognitive changes in older adults with quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods designs. Current research interests are cognition, recovery, behavioral science, bioethics and research methodology, particularly evidence synthesis.
Teaching
I transform research on postoperative cognition and recovery into engaging learning experiences for academic, clinical, and public audiences. I have several years of experience in clinical supervision. During 2018–2019, I hosted the popular science podcast Specialistpodden. My current teaching includes guest lectures, professional development for clinicians, science communication to the public, supervision and examination of bachelor-level theses.
