What we do
The Planning and Follow-up Unit (PU) provides support and creates the conditions for effective internal governance and control.
PU produces decision-making material for prioritisation, planning, decision-making and follow-up for the University Board, the President and the Faculty Board, including its sub-bodies.
PU also develops and prepares proposals for governance models with the aim of promoting efficient use of resources within the unit’s ongoing areas of responsibility. The remit includes systematically integrating the unit’s areas of responsibility into both operational and strategic work.

Further development of a balanced, integrated and accepted process for planning and follow-up at KI.
Key areas 2026
Self-assessment of the quality assurance work, preparation of the self-evaluation report, and preparations for the Swedish Higher Education Authority’s (UKÄ) interviews in early 2027.
